Storming onto the court in 1984 like a bat out of hell, the adidas Forum 84 continues to proffer the silhouette’s original, tried-and-true design language from decades ago. Typically collected through collaborative propositions, the latest effort now undergoes a vintage wash of “Collegiate Green”.
Seemingly flipping the tonal composition of its recent “SVSM” ensemble, the latter silhouette’s vibrant green 3-Stripes now coat the near entirety of the model’s mesh and suede upper. Interjecting notes of “Cream” throughout the mesh tongue and various leather overlays along the forefoot and heel counter, a seldom inclusion of “Bold Gold” outfits the ankle’s trefoil insignia while its matching counterpart comes embroidered to the tongue in a forest green finish. Lining its midfoot stripes with a disparate choice of bright yellow, the overall ensemble concludes with a clad cream sole unit underfoot.
